Well, it could also just be that the retailers cut back in preparation for 4E, and not reflective of what DMs are doing, eight months in advance.

Truthfully, it looks like a pretty good book, but I'm all set for villains, myself.
 

3.5 non-core books over time seem to either have values that have gone up significantly since going out of print, or else have a value which is converging to zero. I know quite a few are available through a major online book retailer for what is essentially the cost of shipping and handling alone.
 


I didn't say it was a bad book (although I'm not impressed). Just sayin', my anecdotal evidence is that it's not a runaway seller.
 





I've seen fairly new 3.5 books get sold regularly on the cheap at the half-price books over in Richardon. DMG 2 seems to be the most frequent one, although a fair number of cheap "Races of" and some of the Eberron books get put up there frequently too.
