I dreamt that a...

Mindflayer tried to eat my brain.

Or, at least, it felt that way after I woke up. I was in a haze for several hours and my head hurt like a son of a... well, you get the idea. I remember the dream and it seemed more like someone was covering my mouth and digging into the top of my head, but it could have been a Mindflayer. :uhoh:

It's all so hazy.

That'll teach you not to mix Jagermeister & Doritos before you go to bed now won't it?

I don't know what either or those things are?

Wait, D... o... r... i... t... o... s..., that sounds familiar, but I don't think I eat them. (Seriously though, I don't know what Jagermeister is. Is that some sort of alcoholic drink?)

The reality is that I've been really sick lately. Hacking & coughing, long restless nights, phlem, antibotics, and water & orange juice. Ugh. :(

The worst part is that need to go back to sleep soon. I'm crashing again. :\

Doritos are chips, and they come in different flavors. Jagermeister is an alcoholic drink which tastes like black licorice. Combine with Red Bull to make Jager Bombs.

I once had a dream where I got bit in the throat by a tiger when I fell into the cage at the zoo. I woke up clutching my throat and sure I was dying [I was in pain for a few moments after waking up too]. Hmm, guess my Bambi Burger thread died too; definitely a weird dream.

that sounds scary, I've never had any pain 'left over' from dreams, which sounds quite scary

On a side note, I believe that events during your sleep affect your dreams, so most likely, you had a really bad case of headache during your sleep, and your dreams transformed that pain in a vision of a mindflayer, same with dog_moon, IMHO ofc

Maybe, maybe not. I had always thought it gave a little more credence to the idea that if you die in your dreams, you die in real life, which explains why people die in their sleep. I could be thinking incorrectly, but that's what I've always believed because I don't know why my throat would hurt [and it was throat, not the back of the neck so I wasn't just sleeping on it funny].

:uhoh: Dreamt I was being skinned alive last night, and I couldn't wake up even though I knew I was dreaming. Its pretty common for me to have nightmares though. :(
