I got into Art School!

I THOUGHT I was happy. But this line made me laugh out loud so hard it brought tears to my eyes.

Glad to help :)

In the real world, I work for a nonprofit that has been committed to restoring arts education (visual art, music, dance, theatre and more) to the public school students of New York City. In the 1970s, most art programs were cut do to budget problems and were never fully restored afterwards, which is a real shame in a city with so many cultural resources. We do a lot of professional development work with NYC public school teachers and teaching artists from the various cultural organizations around the City.

So I am especially *thrilled* to hear you want to be an art teacher!

After seeing your ceramic work in various art threads over the last couple of years I'd say it's well deserved.

Congrats!

The Memphis College of Art may not be a highly recognised school, but it's pretty decent all the same. Hey, it was good enough for Amy Carter!

What, you had to APPLY? You couldn't walk in, say I AM alsih2o, bow down to me mortal!? Jeez. People and their methodology.
