1/2 ogre

Nightfall- somthing you may not have considered is the reach and large size of the 1/2 ogre. reach is HUGE, also as a large creature it opens up large and in charge as a feat and as large your carrying Capicity is also increased.

You're in the Scarred Lands; how friendly are people going to be to adventurers to begin with? ;)

But really, how viable are they going to be to a Half Ogre, or a gnoll? Then again, I'd like a gnoll. Gnolls kick booty.

*absently ponders the relationship between Slitheren and Kobolds. This has much potential*

monster brick fighter

given a choice in the SL of trying to integrate a gnoll, slithern or half ogre into a party or town the 1/2 ogre is the easist. figure most half ogres and 1/2 orcs are the result of the looting and pillagining of one of thier parents and the 1/2 orcs are actively welcomed in several area.

If you're going the Fighter/Cleric route, try to pick a deity that has Mysticism as a Prestige Domain and play Charisma heavy. That'll take care of your pathetic Reflex save, and it's also just cool.

I'd reccomend going into the Two-Weapon Fighting feat chain and Power Attack/Divine Might. If you pay attention to your Charisma, you can add quite a bit of damage and make up for your slightly slowed BAB progression. Also, since you're not looking at being one of the physically stealthier party members, you could focus on Diplomacy-- possibly as a military chaplain and morale officer.

Fighter/Rogue has a lot of potential in this kind of game, too, as an infiltrator and as a scout. Unless your party is already Rogue heavy, this would be very useful to a scouting party.

Actually Xar this ISN'T the Scarred Lands. (God though I wish it was. I'd be a Mantacori in a heart beat! ;) ) It's as I said, a mixture of Forgotten Realms and Warhammer.

san, I don't plan on being quite. Just following orders. ;)

Looking more and more like Half-ogre...
