I love to role play

I love this hobby. I spend many hours each week planning and plotting a campaign for my friends and I love it. I sit down and read through books of rules and plots and places and I love it. I get to share my opinions of books in the form of reviews here and I love it. I get to post excessively and get ridiculed about it, but you know what? I love it. My role playing book collection is worth more then my truck, but I love it. I'm going to be starting a Story Hour and devote more time to this hobby, and I love it. I get to express my creativity and abuse the rules, and I love it. I get to argue pointless rule goofs and contridictions with people from all around the world and I love it. I get to travel to conventions to game with people I don't knbow and I love it. At the same places I get to act all fanboy when meeting Monte Cook, Mike Mearls, Hellhound, and even Morrus; and I love it.

Sometimes, life does not go the way we want it. I'm having one hell of a bad week. But you know what? I love role playing and I have a passion and perhaps even talent for it. So, I'm standing on the top of the biggest Forum here and yelling at the top of my lungs: I love roleplaying!!!!! Do you hear me EN World, I absolutely love it!!!!

I was sitting in the library at school today viciously depressed but then brought up the FTP program on the computer and got back to work on my campaign and soon, life didn't seem so rotten. So I was thinking the very same thought just a few hours ago. It is pretty amazing to have a hobby so effective in mitigating the suckiness of one's life.

Seriously ENworld alone makes being in on the hobby with it. It's nice to be able to get away, it's sort of like a little mental vacation. Yes, roleplaying = good!

Well, i will risk being warm and fuzzy to say that I love it too!!!
Its great to sit down and play with freinds. I am happy to say that I reilzed after growing up i am a geeky gamer chick at heart!!!!

Now only if my husband could make enough money writing for independant d20 companies that I would not need to work.

Did you ever hit that stride as a DM where you were having so much fun ploting and scheming and writing and generally screwing with your player's minds that you wished you could play for more than a few hours a week a couple times a month? I have hit one of those strides in the last month and am having the best time in 13 years of gaming. I couldn't ask for a better group of ROLE PLAYERS (for once) who challenge my creativity as much as I enjoy challenging them. Its a good time to be in the hobby!
