It's funny that this thread would pop up now. While driving home tonight, it just hit me out of the blue.

I write RPGs for a living!

I started laughing out loud in my car, barreling down I-93 at 2 AM, cackling like a madman, only vaguely worried that anyone else on the road would think I was a lunatic.

I love that feeling. I get it once every few months. It's like waking into a dream. I can't really explain it.

25 years ago I 'defended' RPG's as an Escape, a way to relax,etc. Gawd, I thought, what a way to make a living....

Flash Forward- it IS my primary means of living now. Ironies of ironies, what a road we walk...the funny thing is, I NEVER have time to play anymore! Oh well, be careful of what you wish for,etc....
