I've seen quite a few posts hostile to you as well, and then those users suddenly no longer reply to your posts; in fact I wouldn't be surprised if you were the most blocked person on ENWorld. Obviously your OD&D proselytizing doesn't bother me enough to block you though .

I've not blocked anyone. Although I came close with one person (it wasn't diaglo). I just usually ignore them (like the one who nearly ended up being the first person I've ever blocked on a message board).

I just take his prosetytizing with a grain of salt....

I love that Dragonsfoot is such an insular community . . . that allows guest posts.

Not that I took advantage of that in an aggressive way (just pointing out something nobody on the thread seemed to know, which is that it's Mike Mearls' game and not Monte Cook's), but talk about your can of worms.

I've found that trolling works if you want something found out for you, especially, on, say, Unix boards. They'll always tell you to look it up in the manual, but if you say, "Linux sucks because I can't do <this> whereas in Windows, it's so easy to do <this>," then you'll get about 30 posts telling you you're an idiot, and they'll tell you right away.

Well, given the definition of troll on this thread, you fit at least part of it. I don't mean this as a flame. This is a 3e/d20 board. You hate 3e/d20, given the superior earlier OD&D. I can't comment on your opinion because I unfortunately have never played OD&D. Basic, 1e, 2e, 3e, and 3.5e sure, but not OD&D so I cannot comment on your opinion.

I think that is why, and I could see why you may be the most blocked on this board.

Oh, me too. In fact whenever anyone becomes too emotionally invested in a conversation about RPG's, of all things, I tend to approach their posts as humorous asides.
