I need an old module to run this weekend

Grodog, that page may be really cool, but I started looking at that, (I like the "Chinese Hill Giants" and the whole displacer beast blink dog thing), then I started looking at the Castle Greyhak links...

...I don't have all day here, I have got to get back to work! :D

Heh, and thanks :D

wheeler: good choice, A1 was the first module I bought for myself, and rocks! :D

OK, it looks like there won't be any gaming for me this weekend -- too many schedule conflicts. And next week is Heroes Con in Charlotte, so that's nixed as well.

The good news is, this gives me more time to read through the Smackdown module as well as A1-A4.

I still think I'm going to use Castles & Crusades for this. I'm going to add in the damage threshold/condition modifier system from the new Star Wars book, and maybe use that stripped-down skill list as a template for skills to graft onto the Castle Zagyg skill options.

BUT -- that's not really on (my) topic.

I've ran a 3.0 conversion of G1 (added in an aboleth that was way too powerful for the party, ended in TPC [total party charm]).

I ran the 3.5 update for White Plume Mountain -- it was great fun. Also, I ran it right after running the DCC Legacy of the Savage Kings, which ties in directly to White Plume Mountain.

As for C1 Ghost Tower of Inverness, I ran the DCC The Mysterious Tower, and I'm afraid the two modules might be too similar for me to run C1 with this group.

L1 -- I recently bought a copy, and I really want to run the whole L1-L3 series.

Tomb of Horrors I've played twice. The first time I went right into the... well, you know. The place you shouldn't go. I was that guy. The second time, we all had 10' poles. I plan on running the 3.5 update for my players at some point, along with the DCC Crypt of the Devil Lich.

Temple of Elemental Evil, I've played a little bit of the 3.0 update.

In Search of the Unknown and Keep on the Borderlands I played when I was a kid. Isle of Dread, too -- and now there's that new Isle of Dread stuff in Dungeon, so I'd probably want to use all of that if I ran it.

Alright, enough nostalgia. Time for me to get back to making pre-gens.
