Epiclevel39

First Post
I have a weekly 3/3.5 D&D game and I got some new players that joined my game...so I need some new starting adventure ideas that will sort of "sway" their desicion about the game (make them say wow this game is awsome). If you have anyhelp, that would be great!

Thanks,

Visuals are always good. Stuff like miniatures and illustrations of characters and monsters.

Outside of that, for the first few games try to keep their roles simple and fun.

If you can pair them with someone, who will help them figure out which die to roll and when to roll it, that might help. I've found that most new players do better with a bit of gentle coaching from another player or from the DM.

Another possibility is to run them through a mini-advanture, of about an hour in length, before you put them with the group.

And finally, do not kill their character, no matter how badly they screw up. Just fudge the rolls.
