I think that people used to 3e and feats would miss the possibility of customization on the long run (a full campaign). At least I would. In fact I am planning to develop a "feat system" for C&C. As such I will implement the possibility to get a feat at 1st, 3rd, 6th, 9th, 12th, etc. (as in 3e), but these won't be gained automatically, will be relatively simple feats (no feat chains, and nothing related to attacks of opportunity of course), and will be geared at making for the absence of kits and prestige classes (so more of a role-laying flavor thing). Okay, I always have been a powergamer and want to slightly beef up C&C.![]()
Interestingly, I think players only mind the lack of customization at the beginning. It becomes more of a given later on.
