I refuse to DM 3/3.5 past 7th level. How about you?

When do you find that D&D 3.0/3.5 becomes "unrunnable" as a DM?

Past 15th Level, it's just too much effort on my part to provide a feasible challenge. It becomes a chore for me to concoct different adventures for my players. At that point I just rather begin something new and retire (or kill off) the party.

I've wound up both my major campaigns about 13th-14th level only because of player attrition. Both lasted over two years but less than three years.

I didn't find running the high-level games any more difficult than running the low-level games. I'm very much looking forward to running the high-level games in Age of Worms when that campaign reaches them. :)

Cheers!

I tend to prefer levels 5 - 15, actually, but I don't have a problem prior to epic. I chose the last option (any level), but in truth I have little interest or desire to run epic due to its - in my opinion - unusual rules and set up. I can and even will run it (well, at low epic levels), but I tend to house rule several aspects of it. I also note that I cannot readily envision a game running past 30th level as I have never DMed one (thankfully), and I hope I never to have to do so.

I am looking forward to running Iron Heroes, as steps have been taken there to make the DM's job easier, without cutting into the players' enjoyment of "crunchy" options.
