"Hi all! I firstly need to say that my English is not that well but i hope everyone can understand what i'm trying to tell. Because of this, please forgive me if i use "wrong" words."

As you can see in the title, my current character is thinking about deities... He is level Wiz / ur priest / mystic theurge at the moment. We play FR campaign and because of his heretic prestige class (Ur-Priest) he is an atheist. My DM said if my character dies, it will be impossible to bring him back because his soul would be trapped by Kelemvor -God of Death-. As i know there is a wall or something that made from faithless souls. I don't want to be another brick in the wall so decided to worship a God. -Maybe Mystra- The problem is here: But i'm not sure about that she can accepts my as a worshipper. So what can i do with this?

How can i know that she accepted or denied me? Is there a spell that helps you to talk with a deity himself? Or Are there any other tricks that would work for this situation?

Note: I can cast 9th level divine and 7th level sor/wiz spells atm.

Thanks.

Acquire the lich template, it will remove the whole roadblock that is death.

Beyond that, perhaps a Wish spell would work, since in a RP sense, it is actual communication with your god. Although Ur-Priests can siphon powers from dieties, this particular spell seems to be less of a "sneak in and take it" effect.

Or, to be really obvious, you use the Commune spell from PHB which lets you directly contact your diety.

Being a lich is more dangerous than being a faithless i think. I'm not sure that i can enter cities, temples, public areas freely as a lich. But i'll try commune.

Still open for other ideas.

Commune is your best bet.

I was mostly joking about it, but when my cleric became a lich he used mild acid to scour the flesh from his bones (to remove decaying smell), and I wore Glamered armor from DMG to hide my appearance.
