*Elektra nods and leads Vanitri and the others out and across to the nearby tower, heading up a wide staircase decorated with fine art and mystical objects.*

*Elektra pauses in front of a strange device made of three spinning rings with a diameter longer than Vanitri is tall, each tilted at a different angle. She looks both ways down the corridor, probably trying to find someone who will let them in. Her gaze settles on a trio headed to the rings from the opposite direction. In the middle is the most handsome man that Vanitri has seen yet in the Academy, well-muscled with long blond hair and blue eyes that sparkle as he turns to say something to one of the two pretty girls that he holds resting up against him in either arm, the one on his right, his red cloak billowing slightly behind him. He slowly plays with her a lock of her blonde hair as he talks.*

"Yes, Ellie. And I was very impressed with your most recent findings. We need to talk more about the effects of Desire on the psyche. You're really something special...And you know, I bet you could combine your efforts with Fern's research into the Dreamscape, right Fern?" he turns to the dark-haired girl on his left and gives her a quick kiss on the cheek, "You're both very smart and very pretty. A deadly combination. And I know that people here don't tell you that often enough."

*He turns as he notices Elektra and her charges.*

"Ah, my accidental benefactor. I hear you just aced another one in Erlis's Portals and Planes. Nicely done! Still keeping track of that old record? I'm sure thanks to you, we're behind again."

"Anyway, what can I do for you."

"We're just here to see the Omega dormitories--I'm leading a tour."

"So you mean to tell me you're kicking the stuffing out of 12 classes and you still have time to lead guided tours. What can I say? You win school girlfriend."

"Anyway, I was just heading up to my room, but Ellie, Fern, you don't mind helping these guys for a minute do you?"

*Fern nods quickly, although Ellie looks a bit disappointed. The man gives her a hug and kisses the back of her neck.*

"Come on--it'll be quick. All right you folks, walk into the dimensional vortex, please," he gestures to the spinning ring thingy.

"You folks here sure know how to make an entrance," Vanitri jokes as he heads forward and steps through.

"Rowan has always been a bit on the flashy side. That's one thing that hasn't changed.""

"Very true, my dear, but I like to think that I've learned to be a better person nonetheless."

*As Vanitri walks into the dimensional vortex, the rings spin around him and there is a bright flash of blue light that suffuses his very being. He feels a wrenching sensation, and then he finds himself in a short hallway made of a puffy insubstantial substance that floats away as he steps, almost like walking on a solid cloud. Elektra appears soon after.*

"The Omegas definitely have the weirdest dormitory area. But I'll show you more of that once Ellie or Fern makes the door appear."

*Rowan and the two girls shimmer into existence together, and Fern heads forward into the fluffy formlessness, placing her hand against an insubstantial wall. A gilded door appears out of nowhere and opens slowly, and Fern nods and returns to Rowan's side.*

"Well, there you go Elektra--and as always, you are welcome to come visit me some time. But I have to chat with these two ladies about research in my study, so I shall take my leave."

*After waiting to make sure the visitors get into the door, with a sweep of his cape as he simultaneously turns and wraps his arm around Fern again, Rowan heads back the way he came, the three of them vanishing once more.*

*Elektra nods.*

"It goes from wrenching to just a bit of disorientation after the nexus gets used to taking your body apart and projecting an astral avatar into the demiplane. Shall we?"

"Alright then."

*Elektra leads them through the pathway leading from the door, taking them into an unusual ether of brilliant colours, studded with sparkling lights like stars. There are doors of all sorts here, some standing straight up and down, and others placed in varying directions, including ones that open from the ground or in the air. As Vanitri wonders how these doors are accesible, he realises that he is floating forward rather than walking, suspended in the ether.*

"Here we are in the connecting area that leads to various Omega dormitory rooms and facilities," Elektra explains, "It wasn't always like this, of course, but a bunch of Omega students created this demiplane as a research project."

"It was before my time when they put it in. Remove it? Actually the research project was building it. It seems to be an efficient way to connect everything quickly, but the normal hallways exist as well. Whenever you exit a door on the other side, you can choose to reenter this space or walk into the normal hallway. It takes longer the other way, but some people prefer it."
