IA: Thurgan and Krug

*Krug is healed a bit by the wand as Thurgan advances carefully forward to the bend. When he reaches it, however, nothing happens.*

Krug feels a bit better. He steps carefully forward behind Thurgan.

*Nothing adverse happens as Krug steps behind Thurgan.*

*Thurgan waited a three count, then peered around the bend. The wand had been stored again and the familiar crossbow was currently in hand.*

*If he didn't see anything apparent, Thurgan scanned the area just past the bend, looking for traps. If he saw nothing, he proceeded to the next cover he could find.*

*Thurgan sees no traps around the bend. Is he proceeding and leaving Krug all alone by himself?*

*Thurgan looked back, thinking Krug was right behind him. Thurgan maintained his silence, not wanted to alert anyone down the tunnel of their presence. He waited to see if the dwarf was following before heading around the bend. While he waited he peered down the tunnel seeing if he spotted anything.*

Krug follows behind Thurgan, slightly anxiously, waving his crossbow around...

*Suddenly, three javelins come hurtling out of the darkness into the light, aimed at Krug again, but they all miss. There is the sound of movement scampering away into the darkness.*

 

[Krug]

Krug spies the oncoming javelins. "HOO!" he shouts, dodging one. "HA!" as another crashes just above his head. "OOOH!" as the last pounds between his legs. The dwarf almost drops the ground in fear. Aiming his crossbow, he fires a retort at his attackers.

*The crossbow bolt flies into the darkness, making a cracking sound as it clangs against the wall and drops to the ground.*
