"I guess that's the girl" Raghnall poorly hides the distaste in his voice at the torture chamber. Remembering the issue with the axe earlier Raghnall waits.

Kilvo does find multiple bottles that have not been broken, though some may be spoiled by other means. One particular bottle still has an unbroken wax seal and is labeled with a paper wrapper with a sickle and hammer. The liquid inside is mostly clear.

OOC: Does Kilvo know anything about the logo? History: [roll0]

"I'm not sure what that thing is, but it cannot be good for health."

Ersarkess unfurls another net keeping it spread in front of him, just in case the thing decides to jump at him.
"Thael, do you know what that is?"
"Raghnall, do you have a sack or other container preferably leather?"
He immediately repeats the question to everyone.
"If that thing dettaches, we need to catch it or destroy it. Hopefully, there is still hope for the girl. I will cast a small summoning, don't be alarmed."
True to his word, he launches into lively short verse song that ends with a girl standing next to the girl wrapped in 'tentacul'.

Kilvo stows the bottle in his pack and then approaches the girl cautiously. He tries not to get too close, be the sight of this unique artifact has him craning his neck probably much closer than he intended in order to get a better look.

Investigation: [roll0]

OOC: Kilvo's character flaw: "I'll do anything to get my hands on something rare or priceless." It seems appropriate to me that the uniqueness of this.. thing, will have piqued his curiosity to this dangerous level.

Thael's curiosity is roused. Sure, he hopes this is the boy's sister and that she's ok, but he is more interested in the artifact. He inspects it from a distance, and before he speaks to the others, he goes over the papers on the various tables.

OOC: Here are some checks, to see if Thael knows anything about the tentacul and if can find hints/information:

Thael finds this particular thing extremely unknown, though it looks something like creatures that wash up on the shore or are caught in nets in some regions... but those are clearly "fish" in some sense. This looks metal. You do recall a story of "souls trapped in jars" that is largely considered apocryphal.

Thael silently approaches the girl and looks closely at at artifact. He wonders if it is magical.

OOC: Not sure how magical items work in this setting. Do they normally glow?
