[sblock=ignore]Again Carradoc attempts to help.

OOC: I'm open to suggestions for better uses for carradoc here, but I can give advantage to whoever is standing in the bottleneck. given the irregular timing of pbp format, I hope it's okay to say:

Carradoc moves to M26. That puts him within 5' of three combatants. Anyone who wants advantage can take it -- first come, first served. (or, whoever is standing in L27, if that's fairer -- right at the bottleneck.)

[/sblock]

Carradoc casts mage hand, poking in the eye of the creature at J27, using 10 pounds of force to attempt to distract it.

Again Aridha works her magic. Hideous thorny vines lash out, narrowly avoiding Tolan to wrap around the unfortunate duergar beyond him and drag him towards the barbarian's wrath!

(Thorn Whip! [roll0] to hit J27, for [roll1] damage and drag him to K27)

Aridha's thorn whip pulls the Duergar forward. Damien gets a crossbow bolt off at that dwarf killing him.

The Duergar grab for their equipment if they didn't have it already and proceed to attack. Their crossbow bolts and shortswords hit Tolan not at all.

They seem to be yelling and cursing in their native dialect... not to much avail.

I need to learn a more potent spell that will be effective in situations like this Thaliss thinks to himself, as he casts the same spell again.

OOC: remain at o27
Action: cast vicious mockery on K27 dwarf. Save vs wisdom (DC15) or [roll0] psychic damage and disadvantage on the next attack roll it makes before the end o f its next turn

Content to be facing one foe (in melee at least), Tolan shifts to the offensive and takes a swing at the first foe.

OOC: Action: Attack vs. duergar K27

attack - [roll0]
damage - [roll1]

AC: 19 HP 34/41
Exhausted 1: Disadvantage on ability checks.
