Carradoc measures the size of the massive beast in front of him. It must once have been majestic, in its destructive power. But he cannot afford sentimentality. He stabs at it with his dagger.

OOC: To hit [roll0]. Damage if successful [roll1].

OOC:
The creature already seems to be in great pain, exhausted and starved.
If only we were of a more noble bent...

Damien attempted lined up another shot and fired at the creature.

I must speak to whomever did that to that creature. Such cruelty! Archandros commented in the warlock's mind.

OOC: Move - None
Action - Attack [roll0], Damage [roll1]

Tolan continues to fire into the pit, hoping to prevent yet more injury to Dent.

OOC: Action: Shooting the hulk.

attack - [roll0]
damage - [roll1]

AC: 17 HP 15/41
Exhausted 1: Disadvantage on ability checks.

Dent zeroed in on the creature's anguish and fatigue, and smirked with small triumph; the hulk was weak. Vulnerable. Dent swung, aiming a blow at the beast, hoping to slay it. He stayed put and kept a surreptitious eye on Thaliss, not wanting the half-elf to incur injury. Strength in numbers.

[sblock=OOC]Don't Tolan and Damien have advantage for being on higher ground and using a ranged weapon?

Move: None
Action: Attack with longsword [roll0] for [roll1]
Bonus Action: None
Reaction: Fighting Style (protection) Thaliss

AC 21
hp 33/44[/sblock]

Dent's attack fails. Aridha's bite hits, but the poison is less effective than it could be.

OOC: I don't have rules to reference, but I always assumed higher ground was more about melee attacks.

The creature turns to the only source of damage in melee range. One singular claw at tack lands for 15 points of damage (AC hit was 25 in case you have some relevant reaction).

The creature howls and mewls.

This creature is more resilient than it appears! Thaliss thinks to himself, as he concentrates on another eldritch blast.
