OOC: Darkness gone? Great!

The darkness flickers, and Carradoc can again see his enemy. He turns, looking up at the balcony, and a withering beam flies forth from his fingertips.

"Pow."

OOC: Cast Chill Touch.
[roll0], if a hit (and I know there may be partial cover), damage = [roll1] necrotic (and Urshnora can't recover hp until next turn).

The teeth of the reaver's blade bit into his flesh once more, and the sting of the pain finally brings Tolan's mind crashing back into reality. All of the pain and bloodloss hit him at once and he can not maintain his focus, all goes black.
OOC: Death Saves. First @ 0 hp , second at my turn this round (unless circumstances change)

[roll0]
[roll1]

edit: And my dice are back!

HP: 1/29

With a gasp, Tolan's eyes open and he stares up at the ceiling.

Tolan blinks, barely conscious, but aware of the sounds of battle still ongoing. He hauls himself to his feet and scrambles for a weapon, coming up with one of his disguise's javelins, hurling it at the first target he sees.

OOC: Move: 15 ft to rise from prone, then to P7
Interaction: draw javelin
Attack: Throw javelin at Reaver M8

[roll0]
[roll1]

HP: 1/29 AC: 17 (shield)
Exhaustion: 1 (Disadvantage on ability checks)

Rage (1/3 used)
Frenzy (1/1 used)

Tolan

With the lycanthrope down at last, Aridha realized what her singleminded focus had nearly cost her. Without a pause, she ran around to where he had fallen and put her hand on his shoulder, calling on the spirits of the earth to mend his wounds.

Green tendrils grew into him from below; conduits of power. Tolan's flesh writhed and crawled as it healed, as if had a life apart from him. The magic faded mercifully quickly though, leaving him more whole than he'd been.

(Move to Q7 and Cure Wounds at 2nd level!)

[roll0] healed!

When Aridha felled Grimmjaw, Dent used his sword hand to wipe sweat from his brow. He took a breath, looked around, and realized Tolan was badly injured. That wouldn't do; the elf was a dab hand in a fight. Dent walked around the end of the table and knelt beside Tolan. The knight muttered quietly to himself, then reached out and touched Tolan's shin. "Et dimitte nobis debita nostra, sicut et nos dimittimus debitoribus nostris . . . ." Dent's healing lanced through Tolan, burning like wild fire. The knight tried but failed not to look sated; he could feel Tolan's pain, and it stirred things that lay buried deeply.

OOC: Move: From R11 to R6.

Action: Lay on Hands, 15 hp to Tolan. Also, maintain concentration on bane [roll0], I want to add my inspiration die to the Concentration check, please roll that for me [MENTION=552]Creamsteak[/MENTION].

Reaction: Dent will use Fighting Style (Protection) on Tolan to impose disadvantage on an attack made on Tolan by a creature Dent can see.

Carradoc's spell connects, though the damage is not particularly intense and Urshnora in snake form remains standing.

Tolan lands a solid javelin into a reaver.

Aridha and Dent both provide a great deal of healing to Tolan.

One reaver moves all the way to P5 to strike at Carradoc. The reaver's strike hits, and it is brutal. The shark-toothed sword deals all of 16 points of damage.

The other reaver moves to the balcony and takes a javelin attack against the wizard. He manages to land the javelin through cover and mage armor, but the damage is mostly deflected (3 points).

Snake-lady chooses to dash. She moves fast (40 ft movement) and can slide even under locked doors in her snake-form. She attempts to follow example, and slides off the balcony. She fails to be so acrobatic, however, and takes 1 point of falling damage and is made "prone". She slithers, shaken, in a hurry towards the wall. She quickly slides through a crack there. Everyone is now obviously aware of a secret door on the ground floor she just went through, though you cannot see her currently.

Initiatives - Round 8
Party
Cult of the Crashing Wave

Map Notes: Snake is off-screen. She went down a spiral staircase on the ground floor behind a secret door, at approximately L9. It takes a DC 10 intelligence (investigation) check to open.

OOC: This may be one where you want to wait for the map, or you may just want to eyeball it.

YOU LET HER ESCAPE? Archandros screamed in Damien's mind.

Perhaps her patron was more forthcoming with power? the warlock mentally replied, steeling his brain to cut off the response from the devil. Rising to his feet, Damien knew he didn't have much more to offer in this fight. The party should have clearly been over-matched. Thankful for the addition of Dent and Carrodoc, without whom they would surely be dead, the warlock moved behind the table for cover and took a shot at the Reaver standing on the balcony.

OOC: Move: Stand from Prone, Move to S8
Action: Fire Crossbow [roll0], Damage [roll1]

Thaliss sighs of satisfaction as Tolan's attempted-executioner falls. The reprieve is of short duration, as he focuses on Carradoc's assailant.

OOC: Bonus action: transfer Hex to Reaver attacking Carradoc, disadvantage to *strength* checks
Action: Eldrich Blast targetting Reaver.

[roll0]
[roll1]
[roll2]

Position: T9
Sleep on Q10 reaver: round 5/10
Minor illusion of wall between m&N12: round 6/10
Hex on Carradoc's reaver (disadvantage to str checks) round 8/ 1 hour
