Dent stepped between Tolan and Damien, and wove a spell with his free hand. He jabbed Carradoc in the shoulder, healing the half-elf. It hurt like Hades, maybe worse than the reaver's strike.

OOC: Move: From R6 to Q6. Or somewhere within reach of Carradoc.

Action: Cast cure wounds as 1st-level spell on Carradoc for [roll0] points. Maintain concentration on bane, [roll1].

Reaction: Dent will use Fighting Style (Protection) on Carradoc to impose disadvantage on an attack made on Carradoc by a creature Dent can see.

OOC: Location of door can be seen here, in post 301.

Agonized by the wound, Carradoc sees the aquatic serpent fall, most ungracefully, and move towards the back of the room. As it disappears in the wall he hurries to the spot, and attempts to pry open the secret door he assumes must be there. If successful, he will pursue the creature down the staircase.

OOC: Move to L9.
Action: Investigate wall: [roll0].
If successful, descend (K9+). If not, step out of the way 5' (L10)

Carradoc manages to find the door, open it, and descend the stairs.

At the bottom of the stairs, you find a torchlit chamber where two boats bob in an underground stream. The stream flows toward daylight to the east and leads upstream into darkness toward the west.

Urshnora, still in snake form, is clearly visible at the edge of the land just before the boats.

Tolan watches as Carradoc rushes off into the secret doorway. He holds up a hand to try and forestall him, but the man is already gone. Shrugging to himself, Tolan sets to straightening out this room.

An escaped enemy is bad. Leaving a threat behind you is pure foolishness. He bends down to pick up his sword in two hands and stands over one of the fallen reavers.

"We may want to take prisoners. But three is too many."

OOC: Move to Q5 and attack incapacitated enemy.
[roll0]
[roll1]
[roll2]

HP: 26/29 AC: 15 (no shield)
Exhaustion: 1 (Disadvantage on ability checks)

Rage (1/3 used)
Frenzy (1/1 used)

Seeing that Tolan is dispatching the sleeping reavers, Thaliss runs to follow Carradoc to support him.

OOC: If he sees the snake-woman, he'll use a bonus action to transfer hex to her, disadvantage dexterity checks. Note that the minor illusion still in effect at N&N12 will vanish is he moves farther than 30ft away, and Thaliss will not waste an action to dismiss it

Infused with infernal vitality, Damien rushed after Carrodoc, hoping not to let the other warlock get away from him.

OOC: Based on the map, I think I'd have to double move to get down to where they are. I'll stop before exiting the stairs into the lower chamber.

Damien
HP: 13/27 (+7 Temp HP)
AC: 15
Spell Slots: X/0/-/-/-

Dent heals Carradoc.

Tolan begins executing the unconcious Reavers.

Carradoc and Damien arrive at the stairs below and can see the room with the two boats.

Dent stepped away from Carradoc and shook his head as several of the others hared off to seek out the blue-skinned witch. He moved to the sleeping reaver and executed a coup de grace, sliding the point of his blade into and through the soft flesh of the reaver's throat.
