OOC:

All dice are re-rolled on a crit. I think the only exception is poison damage from a weapon. I think that's in Sage Advice somewhere...

Thaliss critically blasts the gargoyle. The creature's stony hide cracks and breaks off in pieces, but it still seems to be standing.

Aridha attacks the damaged gargoyle with her scimitar. Her attack misses.

The gargoyles move, the most wounded one going after Thaliss in revenge. The gargoyle's bite attack misses, but his claw is a critical hit for 8 points of damage.

The gargoyle adjacent to Tolan attempts to attack with advantage. A critical bite attack and a hit with its claws deal 6 and 1 damage after resistance.

The remaining Gargoyle attacks Aridha missing both attacks.

Damein frowned as the fight moved away from him. Ah well, it's the harrier's life for me... Dashing forward, he entered the fray.

I never specified that I was creating my pact blade prior to entering the monastery, so up to you on whether Damien would have had the foresight to create it. If not, my action for this round is to create the pact blade. Otherwise:

Satisfied that the gargoyle that hit him was slain by Tolan, Thaliss now curses and aims arcane energy at the creature in front of him.

Tolan and Damien both land their attacks, though the creatures resistance to damage mitigates it somewhat.

Darn, I thought that Tolan's attack would have killed it. I need to change Thaliss' actions because the ones posted don't make sense

Sensing he is cornered, Thaliss strikes maneuvers to get out of the fray and be in a better tactical position.

OOC:

Taking the disengage action, move through Tolan's space (difficult terrain) and go to AT11
