Dent wiped his hands on his breeches. The gnome's skin and makeup was unpleasantly tactile. He wanted no part of either, and so moved away from the beastly creature.

 

[Creamsteak]

"Yes... yes... I know your concerns... you can just jump down that pit, though getting back out is more difficult. If you take the initiates wingwear that would let you ascend easily enough. Good luck to you all, I must be going."

The gnome makes some odd phrenetic gesture, possibly a spell with only a somatic component. He them proceeds to start walking North, away from Dent, but just a walk.

Thaliss suspects, given the quick way things dissipated, either a Polymorph or Seeming spell was cast.

As the Gnome starts walking away, Thaliss interjects "Mr. Spazzring, why the rush, we have not finished our conversation.". Thaliss then mumbles a few words, and some material starts to be removed from the gnome's face.

OOC: Persuasion/intimidation [roll0] Cast prestigitation, Thaliss wants to see what cleaning the gnome's face does ;-)

The gnome turns around and continues albeit walking backwards now while facing you. Your spell seems to not interact with him in any meaningful way.

"Perhaps some other time. I need to make it to an appointment. Work to be done. Pip pip cheerio!"
