(IC) Dog Days of Doom!

Do you mean Kyuss, Lord of Undead? She laughs. Her tone is wholly incredulous, "Kyuss, himself, rules over Erin Tor, City of the Dead, and you felt the best course of action was to escort a child into a crypt crawling with undead?"

She motions to her horns, "And I thought my parents were cruel."

The armoured warrior looks like he's about to make a comment but she cuts him off with a serious question,

"What does the Brazier have to do with it? Where are the Temple's clerics if it needs to be lit so badly?"

Deidre watches the exchange and it's obvious to her that the armoured man (who may or may not be a dwarf) is impatient and keeps trying to make quips. Any provocation might trigger him.

The tiefling woman seems to be keeping him on a leash - cutting him off before he can speak. While her tone is condescending towards you, her actual questions seem serious. Given what she just said, you now think she actually was sussing out whether any Wee Jas ritual required virgins. Her point about the boy is valid - he's ten years old. While she's not buying your story, her questions are pointed. She wants answers, like she's putting a puzzle together.

The archer is stoic and you don't get much from him. He hasn't reacted to anything that's been said. He's standing defensively and It's likely he'll put an arrow in anyone if he's threatened. Unlike the armoured warrior, you can't tell what his threshold is for violence.

In broad strokes, you think any sudden movements to cross the pit will trigger a fight. The only one talking is the tiefling and the other two are deferring to her.
