Round 1
The goblin riders sweep in towards the caravan. The wolves slow as their riders shift their weight and heft their javelins in preparation to throw.
The first goblin rider never gets the chance. It gets within 30 feet of the caravan when lightning arcs between it and Kaddok. The goblin jerks and howls. He keeps his seat, but drops his javelin.
Ather looses off an arrow then he drops back towards the caravan. It flies true, striking another goblin. Ather takes up a position along side the first caravan.
The goblins sweep past the caravan, launching their javelins. They clatter against the side of the wagons, or 'swoosh' overhead. All but one miss their intended targets. That one strikes Kaddok squarely [1]. The goblins howl and whoop as the head off in the direction the caravan came from.
Brottor watches as the goblins begin to bank to their right, taking them past the wagons. A javelin passes somewhere roughly in his direction, but not even close enough to require the raising of his shield. As the goblins sweep past, some 30 feet away, the warrior makes a decision. He charges, catching the last goblin a telling blow with his sword.
Alton whirls and lets go with his sling at the departing riders, striking one in the back.
Zarpox launches an eldrich bolt at the passing goblins. It strikes, illuminating the creature for a moment with tendrils of energy.
Humbar barks orders at his drivers. "Keep 'em calm. Steady 'em Roth!"
The bullocks, having caught the scent of the wolves and their riders, snort and shift in their harnesses. The drivers, Roth and Heik have their hands full keeping them under control. Meanwhile, Humbar and Winison scramble to grab the small heavy crossbows and prepare them.
[sblock=ooc][1] Kaddok - 3 hp damage.
Goblin 1, 7 hp damage
Goblin 2, 5 hp damage
Goblin 3, 3 hp damage
Goblin 6, 9 hp damage
The goblins swept in from 9 o'clock and swept past and away at 6 o'clock. Now about 40 - 50 feet behind the last wagon, they are increasing their pace and beginning to bank around to their left (circling around for another go?) The goblins won't be able to do anything from that range, so the PC's will have the next round to themselves.[/sblock]
