The goblin was surprised when the whip of thorns grabbed him and pulled him. He managed to maintain enough nimbleness to dance through the fire without getting hurt, but he now stood in the fire staring up at a large warforged.

Alara tossed a bolt of fire at the other goblin, but it threw up its shield just in time to block the magic.

DePoe slid up to the last goblin and knocked it hard in the head with his dagger, managing to drag it out of Ogham’s fire before it burned to death. The chamber was quiet again except for their breathing and the moans of the unconscious, burned goblin, and the crackle of the bonfire.

DePoe will put out any remaining fire on the Goblin, use some rope or wire or whatever he can scrounge to tie it up, then attempt to wake it up by splashing water on it's face. "Time to talk, little one."

Hero
Breathing heavily, Liutbrand sits on the ground "Anyone have some bandages or something?" he says in a joking tone, trying to downplay his painful wounds.

Liutbrand stands up on his feet, his wounds closing rapidly "Thanks buddy, that did the trick. Gotta learn how to do that stuff myself, one of these days".

"We need to push on," Alara tells Liutbrand. She gestures toward the area where the sounds is coming from. Quietly, she adds, "This may still be a hostage situation."

Leatherhead

Possibly a Idiot.
"It's a good idea to get some more information, let's see if these ones had anything important." Rotom justifies her search before digging around the bodies.

Rotom searched the goblin bodies and the prisoner. She found about 85 copper pieces on their person, besides their weapons and armor, but nothing else.

The prisoner sat bound and silent, glaring up at the Plumbers.

Ogham simply nods at Liutbrand before turning to the captured goblin. He examines the prisoner and sees if he or she need some healing, as well.

DePoe looks at the others, "we have a captive. You want to leave it before knowing what it knows?"

Alara gestures toward the sound of the child's sobs. "Do you want to leave the child undefended while we do? If he's undefended now, he may not be by the time we finish."

OOC:
Not sure everyone caught it, but there was mention in an earlier description of the sound of a child's cries coming from the shed across the pit.

OOC: Ooh, I had forgotten about that! Ogham definitely wants to move there first, then.

Thanks for pointing it out!

The captured goblin was injured, though he didn’t seem to acknowledge it as he sat there silently as Korra and Alara moved over to the shed across the excavation pit. As they circled the pit, they could see the corpse of a warforged at the bottom of the pit, its head separated from its shoulders. Eleven other warforged in various states of disrepair sat chained at the bottom of the pit.

The wooden shed contained a small child covered in dust, wearing the once-fine, now-ruined livery of a House Orien. The boy sobbed, shrunken into one corner, his face slack. Stale bread, smelly water, a pile of rags, and a chamber pot rounded out the accommodations.

OOC: Ah, I missed the treasure section at the end of the scene. Ignore what I said earlier about what you found on the goblins. You actually found 16 gp and 15 sp as well as a cheap necklace made of banded agate (10 gp).

"Come, cub," Korra says kneeling down with her arms open. "You safe now." Of course, she's forgotten how much blood, mostly her own, is on her clothes.

Alara froze at the sight of the child's wretched state, finding herself unable to approach him. The Aundairan found herself moved by the blood-soaked half-orc's gesture. She tried to offer support.

"Your father sent us," she added, trying to sound reassuring despite her discomfort. "We're going to take you home."

Realizing this may not have put the child's fears at rest, she calls back to the others, "Rotom, we need the unicorn!"
