Whisper rolled over with a groan.
What the Hells? she thought. The stench of burned hair and flesh hit her nostrils like a carriage pulled by a team of eight draft horses. Blinking, she realized she couldn't see anything. Terrified at the thought that she had gone blind, she fumbled in her pack for a torch and tinderbox. By touch alone, she managed to light it and was relieved that she still had sight.
"I guess it can't be all bad luck," she whispered to herself. Standing up, she started looking for her companions. Giving a wide berth to the dead golem, she stumbled across the drow first.
"Nearis?" she asked, prodding him with a foot. The body felt a little too stiff. Reaching down she checked for a pulse. Finding none, she sighed,
"Well, saved me the trouble, I guess. But he certainly was useful."
She left the body for now to check on
Koregar, hoping the dwarf was alive. She imagined she could possibly do okay by herself, but it was certainly helpful to have someone sturdy between her and trouble. Then again, the dwarf had been taken out like a deadwood tree by the golem. Checking the body, she was relieved to find that he appeared alive, although in a state of deep unconsciousness.
Well, that's no good... she thought. She knew she had no chance of moving the dwarf much and certainly not in a way that wouldn't attract attention. She did her best to push him under one of the tables and then proceeded to check the doors to see if she could close and lock them.

Does it seem like the doors can be jammed closed with lockpicks?
