Daxio mused on what he had discovered, considering. “This was an inside job,” he said. “Do you know which artists worked with mages for their creations? Or were mages themselves?” He started to discreetly scan the artists for any residual traces of enchantment magic that might have been used to compel them.

Neurotic

I plan on living forever. Or die trying.
the Firbolg - as well as the rest of the mob - retreats, clearly intimidated by the small, yet ferocious, dragon. He drops the weapon, dissatisfied and ashamed. the others retreat, but they do not relinquish the gnome.

"We can't risk it, oh Dragon. Someone sold us out. The camp's in chaos!" - the Firbolg answers. "We'll keep them under watch, but we fear we've been betrayed. And trial won't do. How many lies can be woven by the underworld sidhe?" - clearly they fear the dark elves' influence up above.

[The situation's under control and no one would dare disobey now... Even in Moss' absence.]

"That is true, good fey people. But killing your own for the dark ones will accomplish nothing. Keep them isolated, but don't harm them until we can speak with them. But check them for poisons and other dangerous things and always guard them in threes. So if one or even two are betrayers they will not be able to kill them easily. And I swear to Apsu, if they are harmed, every last one of you will be interrogated."

Satisfied that he is taken seriously enough, Moss flies off looking for that weird-speaking elf.

OOC: flying around, looking for Arduniel - he can maybe talk to the people and/or truth-read them.

First Post
Struggling a little to maintain her outward serenity, Aranel graciously accepts the offer to read the book of prophecy. There are too many questions here; the chaos that had drawn them and the chaos that had ensued. The statue. She needed answers.

It would be nice to have something to tell the others about when she found them again.

Arduniel focuses on his familiar and sends the feelings of need for speed. Not quite an emergency, but get back as soon as possible. He hopes Furia will get the idea and return with Moss quickly.
