Both hit. He roars in fury, leaps around the wall that suddenly appeared (I'm picturing a wall of red bricks like in a Road Runner/Wile E. Coyote cartoon). and takes off 30' in another direction but still towards the Hellish scene at the docks.

Ezraen and Erevan can go.

[MENTION=6801671]SunGold[/MENTION]. I dunno. I'm not tracking this combat as 'formally' as usually. Go ahead and go if I skipped you. Then we'll apply Ez's last turn.

Edit:

Turn order is:

Surana
Derendil
Ezraen/Erevan (they tied)

Surana can go. Derendil already went and we'll apply Ez's turn after that.

OOC: Yeah, it just went Ez/Erevan, Derendil, Ez/Erevan.

Surana looks shocked as Ezraen appears next to her, but in her desperation she doesn't have time to react. She turns back to Derendil and lunges ferociously.

OOC: I'm going to use a skill I haven't yet: Attack Recklessly. I get advantage on melee attacks this turn, but:

- They must use str for the mod and
- All attacks against me have advantage till my next turn

Main hand:
Attack [roll0]
Advantage [roll1]
Damage [roll2]

Off hand:
Attack [roll3]
Advantage [roll4]
Damage [roll5]

The dagger sinks in, drawing blood.

[roll0]
[roll1]

After Surana's strike. A moment of fury rolls over the quaggoth. He turns to face you but then something happens...

"Wha? Where am I?...Oh gods! What am I doing here!"

OOC: Since he broke out of it on Surana's turn that nullifies a few hits. I'll correct the damage later (I'm supposed to be playing a game with my kids right now...)

OOC: Rather than attack...

With a grim look on his face, and blood on his blade Ezraen, "Derendil, are you back? You went feral for a second... We need to get out of here."

Once he is sure that Derendil is in control of his faculties, the paladin turns to Surana with no mirth, "Good call."

Without another word, Ezraen runs off at full speed to try and catch up to Drum and Orsik.

As she hears Derendil's voice, for the briefest of moments, Surana forgets the horrors of the day and feels a genuine elation. They lost so much, but at least they won this.

"You're back!" she exclaims, the relief plain in her voice. But her joy fades quickly as she remembers their circumstances.

"But Ezraen's right, there's no time. We've got to get back to the others," she says hurriedly. She puts a guiding hand on his shoulder and looks at him reassuringly. "Let's go!"
