Okay...I think current hp for each of you is 30 for Surana, 20 for Ezraen and 20 for Erevan. Derendil is down 28 hp (and bloodied).
You regroup and head out of the gate. The din behind you is a sound you will never get out of your heads for the rest of your lives.
But as you approach the camp you hear a new sound. Screaming. Fighting. Topsy's voice is unmistakable. "Sarith! Get up! Nooooo!!!!!". Then Eldeth shouts "You damned fishmen! Die!"
Roll initiative. You are 50' away but can't quite see what is happening.

I'll move 30' and see what I can. Depending on what that is, I'll either pull my hand crossbow and attack, or dash the rest.
Either way I don't get to melee till next turn, so I'd like to get in some free bow damage. But if there's an ally who's in really bad shape it may be preferable to dash up to their enemy's face & hopefully draw the next hit. Likewise, if there's an enemy who looks on the edge of death: bow time!
