OOC: Ezraen will help to examine the corridors, but those being narrow as they are, I would assume that it is difficult to assist some one.

Ezraen sighs and uses his scabbard to test the floor leading through the passage next to Surana's and stops every once in a while and looks up at the ceiling for wet patches, like the ooze that dropped on them from above...

OOC: Don't know if the makeshift 10' pole makes any difference...

About 15' down the passage Surana notices some of the flag stones in the floor appear to be loose and when Ezraen's sword strikes one it sounds hollow underneath. After a bit more investigation it seems there is a 5'X5' hollow space (unknown depth) under the floor.

Ezraen scratches the surface of the square with metal endcap of his scabbard, "There's some kind of hollow tile about 15 feet in..."

OOC: How long are these narrow corridors?

 

[Uller]

The passage goes another 5' or so past the hollow space (so 25' total) and turns 45 degrees toward the south then goes out of sight.

"...near the end of the corridor. Easily jumped, but could be terrors if we forget it when making a hasty exit."

OOC: Jumping it and looking around the corner. Rolling Athletics if you want it for the jump, and Perception in case you want a new one for the rest of the hallway/around the corner. [roll0] [roll1]

Once Surana moves away with the light, Erevan is able to see more of the other three passages.

OOC: Ah, now I see. I figured that I would be checking the corridor next to Surana's because it would be a bit cramped, both checking the same one. (Not in the same corridor, next to Surana.) So I was envisioning that the hollow tile went across several of the corridors.

OOC: I see. I assumed you two were helping each other. Probably had the Help action in my brain since I had just posted about that. There is no reason two people can't share the same 5' space to search. As long as you aren't surprised and have room to separate I wouldn't enforce the penalties for "squeezing". If you want to go check a different hallway you certainly can. According to Glabbagol they all lead to the same place, though so I'm not sure what that would get you unless maybe one of them is not trapped. Eldeth has a +5 perception, BTW. She is a scout. Bertram get's +6 in the underdark...but his elevator doesn't go all the way to the top at the moment.
