"I can wait," Zander says to the warlock. "Would your spell work on that glowing hallway I saw as well? I'm not good at finding an kind of traps, unless tripping over them counts." he mentions concerned.

Udit replied through the sending stone again, "You Killed the seer? good job! Can you find out anything about this alchemist and necromancer, like where they are and stuff? We know the alchemist had exploding barrels, and the necromancer has these, uh, ice zombies that emanate cold and explode when they die, so uh, don't gang up on them.... And yeah, that dracolich keeps sending these stone-boned images after us, it's pretty dangerous"

Mord looked to Terrus. "Can you control it? The others speak of a necromancer and an alchemist. Perhaps we can find a way to scope out where the resistance is?

"I think I found the Alchemist in the other room. He's guarded by skeletons." Zander nearly whispers pointing to the southern archway.

Terrus

Terrus stood with a blank expression on his face, but deep within his mind he was in conversation:

"I am Chomylla of Uvaren, or once I was - my essence remains within my Diamond Staff. I sensed your presence when you looked upon the Dracolich Dretchroyaster in the heart of his lair. I don't think he can tell we are speaking to each other, but we must be brief, lest he discover us! He is not asleep, as you may have been told - instead, he is in a trance-like state as he tries to unlock the secrets of the Earth Node below. He forces me to aid him! Your exploits above have caused him to divide his attention, allowing me to slow his progress. But he is not far from unlocking the power of the Node - power that would make him nigh-unstoppable. You must act quickly!"

Aquaria took one look at her brother and knew he was speaking to someone.

"Terrus?" Aquaria asked, holding a hand to the others to hold. "Who are you speaking to?"

"One moment, sister," he said, before concentrating on the voice.

It seems out goals are aligned. I am a child of the Earth, and felt the Node when I entered here. Is there anything you can do to help us?

Not directly, but I can tell you that the Idol you seek is stored in a vault directly East of you. Many of the vaults are trapped and guarded by creatures who do not need to rest! Be wary!

"The idol is in a vault to the east," Terrus said. He looked up at the others. "A spirit within the Crystal Staff has contacted me. The dracolich is not sleeping, but in a trance as it attempts to access power in this place. We must stop it as soon as possible. If it gains access to this power, who knows what misery the creature will inflict upon the world."

Mord listened to Terrus while holding the sending stone out to capture the message for all to hear. "That gives us a clear direction to follow. I suspect we will need to go through that hallway."
