Udit watched the battle somewhat bewildered - it was hard to tell exactly what hits were landing. But it was clear they hadn't won yet, and his arrows were doing *something*

"It sure would have been nice if whathisface Imani had given us magical arrows..." he muttered as he drew another shot at the Ghost Captain.

Lorenn slices the ectoplasmic creature and, stepping back, tries to make the ghost follow him (and so, trigger the Booming Blade and opportunity attacks).

Frantically Zander searches pockets, pouches, and backpack until he finds what he thinks the gnome called a wound sealer. Giving a little prayer that this works he applies it to Seto's burns.

OOC: Use item. If he can he will drag the body away from the fighting also.

Auraia spun in the air, slashing at the lead ghost as she did. She knew she was on death’s door, and she never felt more alive!

Drako gulped air as he looked at the black mark acrossed his chest surprise to see that no blood flowed from it.

“Bloody hell,” Drako said quietly as he unleashed to blast of force at the ghost next to him.

Torbin wasn't entirely sure if his arrows were actually doing anything, but he really had little choice as he had very little magic and none that seemed even remotely useful in this situation. Tracking his marked target he fired off another pair of arrows.

Sesto gasped and opened his eyes. That was a nasty trap... better be more careful in the future, Sesto thought as he stood up and stumbled backwards a few feet.
And seeing all the ghost around the room invigorated Sesto to call down a radiant flame on one of the ghosts.

OOC: Healing potion: 2D4+2 = [3, 1]+2 = 6 Move: Stand up and then to T18 Action: Cast Sacred Flame on Ghost Captain (or another ghost, if the Captain falls over) Sacred Flame (Radient, Dex Save DC15): 2D8 = [5, 2] = 7 HP: 6/45 Spells left: none.

Location: Dretchroyaster's Treasure Vault Encounter: Guardian Ghosts


Zander woke Sesto with the wound-sealer. While the cleric would never quite look the same - he had some scarring on his face - he would live, and the pain was far diminished.

Drako defended himself from the ghost that was on him, blasting it with eldritch force.

Kurzon continued to distract the Ghost Elf Captain while the others threw all they had at it. Udit and Torbin passed arrows through it while Auraia and Lorenn slashed it with magic swords - these last wounded it as if it were a living creature, much to the elf's surprise. The elf became solid-enough from his wounds that Kurzon drove him to the ground with his shield.

The elf dipped his sword and bowed, saying "Enough! Thou hast fought well, friends! My curse was that I must serve til I be bested in battle. Thou hast defeated me, granting me freedom! Never before have I been bested so. I commend you for thine efforts and I wish you well in your quest."

Rising, he turned to his subordinates, who had lowered their weapons, "Come friends, and let us go to our final rest. It is my honour to have served with you, and my great shame to have cursed you to so long service."

The other ghost elves crossed their swords to their chests and said "Huzzah, Tamanier!"

And as they all disappeared in wisps, the brief sound of beautiful elven music could be heard.
