Armides had waited somewhat farther back as Silhouette worked her deception upon the guard and pumped him for information. He was impressed with the way she worked and nodded his begrudging approval. Not willing to let any weapon go to waste Armides picks up Vordahl's discarded dagger and follows the hulking warrior though still remaining some feet behind so as not to impede the fighter as he deals with the guard.

Asseni, Tiefling Priest

Asseni quickly moves forward and brings down his chain like a club on the guard, but the improvised weapon is no match for the man's armor.

Armides can't quite get into the best position to attack with Asseni and Skalis on the near side of the guard. So instead Armides circles round so that the guard can't make a run for it. At least, not without passing by Armides.

"I expect you are about to have a very bad day," he says in a whisper-quiet voice.

Vordahl looks almost impressed with the guard's resilience as he pulls the sword out of him. If only he weren't so damnably Talingardian. His pause is ever so brief before he brings the sword high in the air in his massive hands and slashes diagonally across the guard.

Combat Final

The guard slumps to the floor.

Combat complete.

What do you do?

"Right then," Silhouette says briskly. "I suggest we take a moment to study the map our ex-friend took the time to draw. Hitting the armory is a risk, but could put us in a better position should things go awry. There's also...Grumblejack here, in the secure cell. I suspect that single key you found on the other guard is likely for that door. There's very few diversions more diverting than an angry ogre storming around the halls."

"We'd just need to make sure he didn't start with us."

Asseni, Tiefling Priest

Asseni listens to the fellow tiefling's words, but is mostly occupied to remove the guards armor and don it himself.

Vordahl drags the fallen guard out of the way, to keep any pooling blood away from the map, he checks this one as well.

"Just watch out, there's some damaged spots." He laughs slightly as Assani puts on the armor before looking toward the reinforced cell.

"At the very least, he could dispatch the guards. Though he may draw attention where we don't want him to. I can't speak their language, can anyone control him?"

He takes a moment to look at the map.

Like the first guard this one had a chain shirt (grabbed by Asseni), a longsword, a leather club, and a key.
