OOC: I was out of town unexpectedly this weekend. Apologies for not posting before today.

[section]Cass continued to smile benignly at Armides. After a beat he offered, "I am just as much in the dark as you, rest assured. My friend." The one-eyed oracle turned his attention to the hidden door, the walls on either side of the door, and the ceiling and floor in a ten-foot area in front of the door. He searched for irregularities.[/section]

[section]Cass turned his eyes back to the door, and said, "I see no traps." With that, the oracle reached to open the door to see what lay beyond.[/section]
[sblock=OOC]Cass opens the door, if he can find a knob or handle or some other means of opening it.[/sblock]

[section]Cass stared at the man inside the room. Not taking his eyes off the man, the oracle stood in the door, suddenly unsure. "Armides, we have a guest." Cass edged ever so slightly to the side to permit Armides a look into the room.[/section]

Armides Diat, human Inquisitor of Asmodeus

[section]
Armides frowns then steps to the side of Cass so that he can see beyond the secret door. Unable to tell much from here other than there is is a man in there, Armides enters the small room. He'll check to see if he is conscious and alive, bound or free, and anything else that a casual examination might reveal.

"Well, this is curious."

"Not too much so, really," Silhouette points out, coming over to see for herself. "There had to be SOMEONE for us to dither over putting in this instrument."

Armides notes that the man is alive and free. He is wearing a dirty tabard and chain shirt but is otherwise unarmed. He appears to be frightened. The man speaks. "Wh, who are you?"
