Ideas for a gaming room?

Hi everyone, I would just like to ask for some ideas on what to put in a game room. I am planning to use my dad's garage, and I am going to make a table like Talic has made, with a few changes. (Hope it's ok that i'm using you're idea!) I hope it's ok that I post this even though I saw one thread here about it already.... Thanks in advance!

Good luck with your project! How varied is the gaming you do? How many players do you typically host? What are the overall dimensions of the garage and how much actual floorspace is available? Will this need to pack away sometimes or be moved? Can I stop asking questions now? Why did I ask that too? Is there no end?

I've found that a dry erase board is very helpful to have in a gaming room.

I see! Well, you seem to be on the right track. Have fun and takes lots of pictures during and after the build. Bookmark this thread so you can bump it with pics periodically for the rest of us curious nerds.

A more practical thought to keep in mind if you are going to game in a garage...

Books and paper do not like humidity. If the room isn't finished or if it tends to get humid invest in a dehumidifier.
