Ideas for an Underwater Campaign Setting

Ahh... something I can read! I'm having trouble devoting 15 minutes of free time to watch the YouTube review. Something about Christmas break, a boatload of kids, and vindictive house elves that fill my abode with trash, dirty dishes, and piles of laundry ;) Perhaps I can play catch-up when they slumber.

If they were inspired by sea cucumbers, then what about the pearlfish:
