I'm looking for someone to draw a monster for me and am willing to pay to have it done.
In my current D&D campaign, the 'bad guys' are a race of former humans who have been changed and twisted by an evil entity known as the Dark Wind. Basically, they are creatures of shadow beyond redemption locked in a genocidal war with the forces of light. They are called Dwimmerlokes.
To help a potential illustrator, here are their physical features:
1. The facial features are similar to that of a death's head. Their noses have atrophied to the point that they have only two holes where their noses should be.
2. They are fanged and generally clawed.
3. As creatures possessed by the Dark Wind, their eyes and tongue are night black as are their fangs and claws. Their skin is a pale grey or limpid white color.
4. Most , but not all, have hair but it is sparse. Those that have hair usually put it in a top knot.
5. Though they have superior night vision, this does not allow them to discern individual features, a problem in their subterranean realm. Hence, from an early age, a Dwimmerloke is subject to ritual scarring that imprints his name, clan affiliation, achievements, etc. onto the skin of his face, head and forearms. Sometimes, protective runes are also carved into a Dwimmerloke's skin. In this way, a Dwimmerloke can tell a lot about another Dwimmerloke simply by feeling his face and arms.
6.Dwimmerlokes are masters at taking the bones of their enemies and warping and shaping them for armor and weapons. For this reason, Dwimmerloke warriors often wear armor and wield weapons made of bone.
7. Dwimmerlokes who have to walk in either sunlight or moonlight do so wearing broad brimmed pointed hats similar to those traditionally associated with witches and wizards. Also, when walking about during the day, they wear large black cloaks no matter what the temperature.
With these details in mind, I'm looking for someone to illustrate the creature described above. Here are the details:
1 The illustration should show the Dwimmerloke either wearing bone armor or wearing the hat and cloak.
2. The illustrator will let me know what they think a fair price should be.
3. I'd like to pay using PayPal, but this is not a requirement
4. The illustration should be in pen.
5. Please either post your info here, or you can contact me at the email address in my profile.
Thanks!
