Quality over expediency. Learn some patience, as you so often try to point out to me. Besides, I hardly doubt one little paragraph would delay anything by more than an hour at most.
Also...rule clarifications are a good thing. They help those who don't frequent this site. I could easily wait another year for an update, as long as I get one.
Let's try not to burn Krusty out with impatience. We've all been a little guilty of that. The man is an artist, ART cannot be hurried or rushed.
I understand you like to post negative responses to nearly anything I say...but for the sake of the adults, let's keep it down to a minimum.
What can I say? You make it so easy.
ANYTHING at this point would be a nice counterpoint to all the nothing we've been getting since UK practically gave up on finishing the text. Given the fact that UK's remarked on how it would take hours to replace the name of one ability, I can't imagine how long it would take him to make room for and insert a wholly new piece of text to fulfill some unremarkable article of what should be common sense.
I'm not sure what your declaration of waiting another year for an update speaks of, but it's bordering on ignorance. If I've paid for a product, I wouldn't very much like to wait two years before I get it. We've already edged right up to (if not passed; I'm not sure anymore) the first year mark now, and I'm getting pretty POd about it. It's irresponsible of him to allow his work to fall this far behind and take so long (and I know you know this, UK, so I'm not trying pick open this particular wound, I'm making a point), but it's equally irresponsible of you as a consumer and a fan(atic) to facilitate even more delays, especially when you're not the only person waiting for the results.
So, while I appreciate the artistry of it all, let's not go applauding and

ing when UK skips updates for weeks at a time, then months, and when we can start having "When Are We Going to Get It" Anniversaries. I know you like to present yourself as a sympathetic patron of the "arts", but it's really little more than sycophancy and it does nothing for you, UK, or the rest of us to attempt to say "take as long as you want" while trying to placate the rest of us with empty language. UK needs to get on the ball; he's got a publisher on his back and he's about a year behind on Ascension. There's no room right now for foam-finger-waving praise, especially when he has yet to deliver a final product.
That being said, UK
has all the time he needs, he's just got to manage it better or he'll see fewer and fewer of us as the name on the cover of the project changes. It's his responsibility as a designer to design, not talk about design or promise design or implicate design. Perhaps, UK, you should start jotting notes on a computer instead of on a pad of paper in shorthand, or whatever you do; it might save some time in the transference from idea to reality.
