Improved Precise Shot Vs. Displacement

A question for ya. Does improved precise shot beat displacement? The displacement spell says you get the 50% miss change as if you have total concealment, but they can be targeted normally.

Improved precise shot ignores all but total concealment. Displacement doesn't give concealment, it gives a miss chance. It's *like* concealment in that the end result is a miss chance, but it's not actually concealment.

So... no, improved precise shot doesn't negate displacement.

Umm no. Precise shot applies to ranged attacks only, and blind fight to melee attacks only - so you can't combine them.

You all are right about precise shot not applying to displacement. Whether it is total concealment or is like total concealment does not even really matter: Precise shot works only against a target with less than total concealment (or cover). Any 50% miss chance is just too much for the feat.
