In a period of abstinence...

Not only do I have folders containing nearly every PC I've designed since 1982- played or unplayed, and covering a good 80+ systems- I have most of the adventures I've run since then, too.

And the REASON I bought my first PDA (and now own an iPod Touch) is because I could use the note-taking programs to design PCs and take campaign notes when I was killing time in waiting rooms, airports & taxis.

(When I wasn't reading or some such.)

That resulted in my Palm containing 3 campaigns in 2 RPGs and over 150 distinct PC designs in 5 RPGs.

And that ignores my sketch books.

So, yeah- when I'm not actively gaming, gaming is still a part of my life.

I used to amuse myself by writing game journals, a retelling of adventures in story form.

If done with a current game, I found that this helped me think things through. I used to post them on another site, and I found that some of my literary license got retrofitted into the game. I guess the DM liked the story!
