In defense of 4E

I see 4E getting a lot of flack here. For those who have tried it and don’t like it, I’m sure you have good reasons for it. I’m not really trying to convert anyone but I think, at least as an academic exercise, I’d like to try to provide a counterpoint.

There is a forum for 4e discussion, and by all means talk about the things you like about 4e there. There is a forum for 3e and earlier discussion, which is probably not a place you are interested in.

I'm glad that you've got a version of D&D which you like. Huzzah!

However, we don't need to go back to threads where person A decides to provide a 'counterpoint' to person B arguments. We allow one and others will follow.

So I'm closing this thread now.
