Peter Higgs, who won the 2013 Nobel Prize in Physics (and many other awards) for the prediction of the eponymous Higgs boson (particle and associated field), died yesterday at the age of 1994. [Bolding mine]

Wow, that Higgs Boson must have allowed him to cheat death, at least for a while!

Either way, RIP Peter Higgs - the field of physics and humanity is better for your life, and lessened by your death

Oldest living conjoined twins, Lori and George Schappell, die at 62

The oldest living conjoined twins have died in Pennsylvania at age 62. Obituaries posted by Leibensperger Funeral Homes of Hamburg say Lori and George Schappell died April 7 at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
