INFERNO, Epic Dragon of Faerun

On the topic of the draconomicon, I have a hunch that WotC will make one for 3E. It is called Dungeons & Dragons after all... :D And they have made several books about dungeons allready (Return to the temple of elemental evil, book of challenges, stronghold builders guidebook to name a few.) Of course, they haven't said anything about making one, but on the other hand, you have different fingers...ehr... I mean, they have not said they're not doing one.

But alas, one can hope. (and hope that they make it non-realms specific this time... :D)

Perhaps... but then again anything can happen, and it usually will, sooner or later. Remember, there's more that three times as many people playing D&D now than during it's last golden age...

Shylo: Ask Cassiopeia, it's her dragon.

Kitsune: So what if it is expensive, so was the FRCS, and it was a big seller. I for one have every intent to buy the 3E Draconomicon :D

There are new rules, feats, spells, prestige classes, magic items, and other materials associated specifically with interaction with dragons. The book itself will be designed in a prestige format, with heavy use of art throughout and constructed of premium materials. This book is intended to provide the basis for every dragon played in D&D from this point forward, making it an essential tool for both DM and player."

39.99 is a wheeee bit much for me to spend. But still, I'd sell my left toe to get it too, so we will see when push comes to shove. (I always have a hard time picking feats for dragons, not enough, Savage Species helped a little.)
