today we played with the playskool spiderman and spidergirl action figures and Cap ended up being a dresser from her doll house. and he could talk.

It's funny the kinds of stuff that they come up with. Tonight we were at a baby shower for my sister and her husband and we had my daughter out past her usual bedtime. The sun was down as we were driving home and I guess she didn't like that because she firmly told my wife and I to "turn the dark off!"

That's funny because that's what my Halfling Rogue was saying when our characters went up against that pack of demons last week who had Darkness 20'R at will. :D

Yeah Rel we too have had the turn off the dark type discussions. Our AC recently broke and when she learned of this she told me toput new batteries in it. Back to the thread at hand though, she got into stealing our dice after she lost one of her big fuzzy ones. I am sure she will be a gamer because she has "powers" now.

And she shoots me with them.

All 4 of my kids love dice, but, they also love dice bags...since I happen to have a few lying around all the time, I'm constantly having to 'write off' stock for them:D . As well as an occassional kippah for my son...and no, we aren't Jewish, but he likes them, so I hope we aren't breaking any religious rules for the kippah being worn. My 1 and 2 year olds also love them, they play dress up with them and their bags and of course scores of the huge d20's. They are really quite adorable.:D My almost 10 year old keeps asking when she will be old enough to play. I don't have the heart to tell her that we play for a break from them!:D

:D My daughter thinks my wife is spending the weekend at the airport, speaking of the funny things kids say. Must be loads of fun.

My three year old daughter _loves_ to roll dice. Usually, we let her watch a movie while we play (the house we play in has a 16:9 48" HDTV -- I'd almost rather watch a movie), but when that gets down she wanders downstairs and starts rolling my wife's dice for her. She doesn't quite understand the number of sides, but that shouldn't be far off.

She's also a complete ham -- and a good one. We honestly can't tell sometimes when she is acting and when she is serious. Fortunately, she uses a lot of invisible/imaginary props (snakes are big on her list at the moment), so that's usually a good tip.

With this girl's imagination and her love of putting on a show, I can't wait for her to mature enough to understand the game. She's a natural.

Yes my 3 y.o. daughter is a ham also talks about her castle and her dungeon etc...she sees the books and some of the art that is around and says she likes it but I play on weekends she is not around so she is not exposed to the playing side. My 2.5 son is just devious and likes to take the dice and likes to put dice bags on his hands like mittens, we live in Florida  .

If you want proof look for the 2 cuties walking around GenCon Friday afternoon in their special smaller sized Fall of Man T-shirts ;) .

Seriously we did make a few mini T's for our kids, yes my life is sad :D

Hal, sad is almost having to put up a play area in our 10x10 for our 2 little one! Saved by the sister!!! And it's our first vacation alone (anything away from 4 kids is a vacation, even grocery shopping):D
