Interest in a Detroit Gameday?

Actually, he's got some Magic tournaments and other things to work around in January; we were targetting either the 17th or the 31st.
I could do either, but I think the 17th would be better. I just noticed where Garden City is! I have probably been by that gaming shop 3 times in the past couple months going to my company's Romulus warehouse. :)

Still looking for more SE Michigan gamers!!

This location has a TON of tables so we can really host as many people who would like to come.

If you've got any friends who'd like to come or if you know of any EN Worlders who haven't posted here yet, let `em know!

Also ... bump!!!

Any plans/ideas on what will be happening? Any volunteers to run stuff? etc. etc.

later,
Ysgarran.
We'll start putting that stuff (the fun stuff) together next week after we've picked a date and have it confirmed with Pandemonium .

After the success of my "Duchess' Tea Party" game in the Chicago ENWorld Gameday, I might be tempted to run "Duchess' Tea Party Strikes Back" here in Detroit. ;)

It was a fun event. However, I would advise that you have the rough stuff fall more evenly between characters. (Everyone gets to have a bad day.)

Also, I do think that your observation of having one player per character was on the mark.

Now, if I can just figure a way to get out to the Game Day.

Actually, the rough stuff you had in your background was pretty tame compared to some of the others, it's just that KnowTheToe did more with it than anyone else. The other rough stuff you had; nearly getting killed by that imp in the church, were based on decisions you made (to go check it out alone) so I can't really help you there.

In other words, I don't know how I'd even it out any more, because it's too player dependent.
