Interesting Templates for Characters

Templates and PCs don't mix. But that's just my take on things. *shrug*

Note that everytime you increase the number of HD, you're increasing your overall ECL also. This is one reason I've never considered taking this template for a PC... that and its rather weird.

Perfectly aware of that...but it still rocks!

BTW, a Feral Orc (or even half orc) is naaaaaaaassssssssty: HUGE Str bonus + natural weapons.

Make it into a Monk, take Improved Natural Attack & DCv1's Unorthodox Flurry (PC can consider a light weapon as a monk weapon for Flurry of Blows) for Feats and open a Sam's Club sized can of premium whupass! Then take levels of PsiWar to take the Enlarge power and bump up that damage 2 more classes...GRAAAAH!

I like the undead-blooded template from the Book of Templates, myself. And the Blighted Thrall is something I'm eyeing for a cohort if my old game gets back up and running this summer.

And then there's my burning desire to play a half-illithid beholder....
