Interplay to close Black Isle Studio????

It has been mentioned previousy, but not in the title of the thread - so don't be surprised that you missed it. (I prefer threads with well described topics...) http://www.enworld.org/forums/showthread.php?t=68648

It is a rather depressing thing isn't it? They were nice games, fun to play, graphically appealing... I played them a lot more than Never Winter Nights. And while Temple of Elemental Evil is a lot of fun it doesn't really fill the same niche.

Actually it is new and different. The old thread was about people leaving, this new story is about the studio actually being closed.

Black Isle Studios is no more (unless it proves to be untrue, which seems unlikely).

Yes, I just heard this tonight before not watching Battlestar Galactica. It is sad. I don't know where we will get our good rpg games from now.

Bioware of course. Someone else is bound to show up at some point, in fact I'd bet a lot of former BIS emplowees will gang up and form a new company.
