Nice! The documentation looks good too.

I haven't had a chance to try the new version out, but what kind of non-standard conditions can this track? And can these affect the actual numbers of the actors for specific durations? For example, can I boost defenses against the next attack that occurs before the end of the current actor's next turn?

It tracks any condition found in the players hand books.
Most of them effect the numbers for the actors, if the condition has a value. such as ongoing damage of 3 will do 3 points of damage at the beginning of that actors turn.

Some conditions (prone, surprised, dead, uncontentious) are simply on or off.

Some conditions (marked, quarry, cursed, ext) only have a caused by property.

Some conditions (blinded, dazed, ect.) can have any combination of the following properties:
Save Ends, where to auto roll the saving throw, and any bonus the target
gets to this saving throw.
Ends at the beginning of <selected actors> next turn
Ends at the End of <selected actors> next turn
Has a numeric value and the actual value
While some conditions like blinded done have a numeric value, this option is simply left unchecked in the condition Duration properties. So its quite flexible when configuring how a condition is resolved.

As for your specific question you cant boost toward a next attack and have them fall off automatically, however adding a condition duration end event for end next time this actor takes damage would not be difficult to do. I can add this to the wish list.

Thanks for the feedback.

This here's your problem.

Apple is now the largest seller of personal computers in the world. Windows only just doesn't cut it anymore.

I don't think there is factual evidence for that claim.

I thought HP was largest seller (around 22%) of desktops and laptops with Acer second (around 20%). With Apple around 10%.

If you stretch tablets into defination of personal computer then Apple is most likley topping the list of indivual sellers.

Largest seller also doesnt mean a lot when Apple is a single supplier compared to the many sellers of Windows type PCs. Adding HP, Acer, etc toghether will far ecplise Mac Sales.

Thanks for fixing the screen resolution issue. Works great on my netbook now.

I've tried every tracker out there I think, from DnD4e Combat manager, Dm Battlescreen, to Masterplan, and I find this one is the easiest to use during play.

The sliders and icons for each condition really reduce the keystrokes, which helps me keep the flow of the game going.

just 2 requests from me so far.

1. Figure out how to get the app to apply the Ready condition.

2. Find someone or -ones to help you port this tool over to tablet format. the GUI and layout you created would work perfectly. The other tools that I have seen out there (I use an Android tablet) either try to do too much for a simple combat tracker, or are too simplistic and do not provide the enemy stats for you to reference during play.

This is one app I would definitely pay for if it could be used on a tablet.

Patch 2.0.35 is now available on Goathead Software | Home of DM Minion

Changes

Total Defense is now a single buff that can take a variable value and works like other conditions
Added concept of a Missed attack, when using the damage button when set to 0 a miss is logged.
Added condition resolution for 'target of next attack', Taking damage or a missed attack will trigger this.
Fixed a bug where some conditions would not apply to all selected combatants.

Thanks for the feedback, nice to know its working will in the real world!

You can always drag and drop to move people around in the battle grid for now. Moving the current actor will move delay his initiative. However moving the any other combatant will change his current place in 'line'. I will look into adding a ready action that will do something similar but you will be able to track who has an action readied.

I have been thinking about doing some iPad and Android OS Tablet stuff. Just have to wait and see!

This is a great program, but the label field on the monsters is way too small. I created a monster named "Test" just to see how it worked and it only shows "Tes" in the label field before it gets cut off. Given how useful the autonumbering of the monsters is, the Label field should be the biggest field. Either that, or the autonumbering of monsters should be added to their name instead of the label.

I agree with you and its been on the list to determine what to do with it so it more readable. I have a few ideas to make this easier to read. Look for an update for this in the next few days. Thanks for the feedback!
