Invisibility duration?

First Post
The text for invisibility reads (thanks, D&D Compendium!):

Daily Arcane, Illusion
Standard Action Ranged 5
Target: You or one creature
Effect: The target is invisible until the end of your next turn. If the target attacks, the target becomes visible.
Sustain Standard: If the target is within range, you can sustain the effect.

Is there a limit to how long this can be sustained? Minutes? Days? Weeks?

The next Rest.

Short or extended? If the PC chooses not to rest, can they just keep going indefinitely? Or does that mean that there is an implied 5 minute/18 hour cap to all sustainable powers?

Most sustainable powers have an "until end of encounter/5 mins" clause. The fact that invisibility doesn't seems deliberate. I really don't see a problem with it.

Or the omision could simply be a mistake.

I wouldn't have too much issue saying you could keep it up as long as you like, until you rest that is. Obviously you can't take standard actions while you're sleeping.

But thats the DM call obviously

Yeah, the Wizard Invisibility spells are the weakest form of invis in the game. I don't see a problem with having them be the longest-lasting.

Found the rule you need.

Unless a description says otherwise, you can sustain a power with a sustained duration for as long as 5 minutes. However, you can't rest while sustaining a power, so you can't regain the use of your encounter powers or second wind until you stop sustaining a power.
