Invisible Blade from CW -- almost TPK'd my group.

Re: Multiple bluff checks

It would be more than reasonable to apply cumulative circumstance penalties to the invisible blade's Bluff check.

I agree, it's the drastic option.

But what a mighty free action indeed !

Compared to :
Rapid Reload - turns a move action to free action, multiple possible uses in a round (w/ light X-box)
Quicken spell - turns a standart action to a free action, at some cost, usable once each round
But one (uncanny feint) that can't be accomplished before 10th level. And is only useable with daggers, kukris, or punching daggers.

Still seems balanced at 500 times per round...

A ring of blinking is still better... YMMV

Too harsh on one free action bluff per round IMO.

Don't the rules say each character is entitled to only one free action per round? Maybe I'm thinking 3.0? Stuck at work or I'd try to find a source.

Low will save opponents and a cleric in the party?

Curse 'em till they glow.

Oop, 50% chance to lose actions per round.
Oop, -4 to attacks, checks and saves.
Oop, -6 Dex.

As for the free action feint... it is just that -a free action which can be done as many times as you want. Most people generally think it was intended to be limited to once per attack.

The author of the class has stated this was the intention.

No feint-'til-you-roll-a-20, attack, feint-'til-you-roll-a-20, attack, etc :)

But feinting once per attack is fine.

It should also be noted that when he wrote the class, he thought "and any applicable modifiers" meant "modifiers to BAB", rather than "modifiers to Sense Motive", so he assumed that the defender got to add Str bonus, Weapon Focus, etc etc. (!?) But he's claimed that even with that misconception remedied, one feint per attack is still balanced.

Now, if I was playing a fighter-type character facing an invisible blade (or, to avoid metagame knowledge, some dagger-wielding opponent doing serious damage to me), I'd be disarming with a two-handed weapon, AOO notwithstanding. That's a net +8 to the disarm check, all other things being equal. Let's see how well she does with her fists.

Doh, quickdraw one dagger from the other nine daggers they carrry, not sure if that's the right way to go about things there. Being a tank I'd just two-handed power attack full and see how long the dagger wielder lasts. ;)
