Flint does not mind giving the stump remover to someone else when asked. After all of us have crossed the bridge, someone could blow it up from below, possibly taking a few goblinoids with it. Flint assumes he'll be the one doing that if nobody speaks up.

Well, Corsa won't be asking for it back. She figures the dwarf is the most likely to know how to use it effectively, since the bridge is made of stone. I only later remembered that "you cast Fireball centered on yourself" is on the Wild Magic surge table...but she doesn't know that. ;)

Really though, the chances are slim, so no worries. I was mostly just having a laugh about it.

Sorry not sure what happened when I did stealth roll. I'm guessing it had something to do with my phone.

Yes once we are there - My plan is to bring up the rear making sure that all the townspeople are "safe". I had the idea for the Javelin out of character but since at this point Harb doesn't even know that there is anyone in the building anyone that wants to can do that or if someone lets me know that someone is in there I can use that idea to slow them down a little.

I think the plan is still that once everyone is at the building we hit the bridge hard

Forums have been slow due to the holiday weekend, and my extra day off turned into a day of work so I may or may not be able to get a post up tonight, if not it will be up tomorrow.

Ok, I just had a look at the stats for the guards on the bridge and I think I seriously underestimated the threat they pose.

Anyone have any ideas? I have a feeling that going toe-to-toe is going to get us killed.

Is it worth trying to blow the bridge while they are on it?

Get them to chase us and then get the civilians past them?

Well, it's likely they'll come to us now that combat has started. Which may give someone (Flint?) the opportunity to blow up the bridge.

If we do that, can we cross the river with any ease? If not, we might want to rush over the bridge together first.

Either way, Flint is going to try and reach the bottom of the bridge.

IIRC we were already told that the river can't really be crossed without the bridge or a boat.

I agree, it's not looking good and with the condition we are in, I'm not sure the plan we had is still a good idea. Other than try to outrun them and find another way across the river I'm not sure I have any other ideas though.

Is there a wagon or anything in the area that we can use as battering ram to try to push through them? Knocking them off the bridge might be our best option, at least take a couple of them out of the fight quick.

One thing we know is we can't straight-up fight them. A lot of dodge and disengage an stay out of line-of-sight is needed. We have to get across before we blow it up! I say we put the building between us and them and see if we can run past them if they come to us. If they only send one to chase us, maybe we can kill that one. Stay out of sight of that crossbow!
